B18A distributor doesn't fit B18B engine?
I blew the B18A in my DA and ordered a JDM B18B for it. I'm still running the OBD-0 ECU so I know I need to swap my distributor, injectors, etc. Problem is my distributor doesn't fit the B18B properly. There is a gap between the top of the distributor where it bolts to the head. In other words it doesn't sit flush against the head. Just to double check I'm not crazy I bolted the B18B distributor onto my B18A and it doesn't fit properly either. Are these distributors not interchangable? What do I need to do to make this work?

yes the housings are, take the dizzy off and 180 the 2 teeth rotor that goes in the engine. but you need to run a obd1 ecu on a b18b dizzy it will not work with the obd0

I have a 1991 DA Integra. So with my '91 distributor and and my B18B distributor (don't know the year, therefore don't know if it's OBD1 or OBD2) how do I make one work on my B18B if I'm running an OBD0 ECU????

Im totally lost here. A b18a dizzy will fit a b18b. They are key wayed, meaning they only fit one way. Rotate the metal part 180 degrees and put it back on the head. B18a and B18b have the same exact head, only difference between a b18a and b18b is intake manifold design and ecu tuning thus the 10hp difference

Oh, ok. I guess that's what Projectteg said but it wasn't clear. I'll try spinning the distributor gear and then see if it fits, maybe I was just being a retard. I'll post agian when I get a chance to try it.
