Default Compression and nitrous with 93 octane

How hard is it to run a decent sized shot of nitrous with high compression pistons. Will be running forged pistons and sleeved block. Also will have large injectors and walbro 255 fuel pump. This is assuming it will be tuned well. Am i still at risk for detonation or any other problems ?

Well, what do you consider a decent sized shot?

I think you could still run a 65 shot as long as you take
the proper precautions.

High compression and boosting is a lot harder to do safely.

You might want to experiment with the spark plugs and timing too

get a device that retards timing while spraying, like the MSD digital 6. if your running a shot that big its probably a wet kit so bigger injectors don't matter.

if it is a sleeved block with rods and pistons id say it would be fine to run up to a 150 shot with the right timing map and mabey a little race gas MSD makes a 6BTM ignition box with timing retard would work great for your application post some #'s when ur done

Aren't you worried about blowing your piston rings out?

So you havent done the build yet . If your going to spray on pump gas why not go with lower compression?
