alright im building an h23vtec (h23a1 block, h22 head) with type s pistons for about 12:1 compression. i planned on running this on 93 octane but recently decided to add a 75 shot in for a little kick to put me around 300hp. will this affect my ability to run on 93 octane as the 12:1 compression is already about its limit? thanks!

I don't see any issue running 93oct on that kit as long as your block is well put together and pull that timing with that high c/r

 

Only thing with dry kits to remember is you have to make sure your fuel system is up to the task of feeding the extra needed. But with a setup like yours im sure youve already got a decent setup I would hope.
