Default relocating headunit to the bottom DIN pocket?

hey guys

ill be going to college in a few months, and id like to relocate my headunit to the bottom DIN picket for security reasons.

right now in my 96 civic, i have keyless, so the stock headunit is hidden in there without the faceplate (to keep my keyless working)

if i want to relocate my headunit above the cupholders, will i need to buy anything for it to fit? or is there a slot in there for me to screw it in?

thanks

you wouldn't need anything, i'd find the face of your factory headunit and stick it back in and put your aftermarket down by the cupholder...i'm assuming you might have a tape player or pocket down by the cupholder? if so you should have everything you need, just flip the lid of the cupholder up when you get out of your car and everyone will think you just got the factory radio in there.
