Default smoke when coming to a stop/stopped

ok heres the situation.

everytime i downshift and come to a full stop at a light i will see smoke from my exhaust. its not alot but its enough for me to see and for my friends to ask me whats up with it.

when i get on the car it does not smoke at all. only after driving and then stopping at a light some smoke comes out but it is not constant. also i know that its oil because i can smell it and see it.

i was wondering what could be the cause of this. the car feels great and pulls hard, still feels really solid and has been boosted for over a year now.

setup is:

stock LS motor
sc61
550 cc injectors
short tubular mani
3 inch dp/exhaust
pushing 16psi and tuned with neptune by jeff evans

i ran an 11.8 when it was doing this also and pulling 116-118mph trap speeds.

thanks for any input. i just hope the motor isnt starting to go.

kinked oil return line, valve seals, bad turbo could be a possibility

I got the same problem with my all motor car. If I get on it hard then get off and come to a stop or slow down and tap the throtle again it smokes. I can see the blue smoke so I know it is oil. I think it is valve guides but not sure.

My guess would be seals. If you're using a -4 feed line, change to a -3 or use a restrictor. I hope it's not too late. I've seen people ruin seals after 20 min or driving w/ a -4 line.

this is a common trait on honda motors, boost or n/a when the ring seal is not so great. high vacuum on decel and when coming to a stop there a bit of smoke and oil smell.

I too have the same issue. Last year on a d series y7/y8 with my return line low in the pan it smoked, like yours. 3an line, and a good sized, no kink return line.

This year, rebuilt engine, full y8 this time, new return line, high up above oil line, still same problem. I'm leaning on time for a turbo rebuild personaly Piece of cake though. I also upgraded my pcv system this year, to a proper catch can, so thats not it either....

same problem here, but i pretty sure i know its my turbo, my compression is solid, and i can see oil seeping through the exhaust side on the ouside of it around the clocking blots and ****, and i know im using a bigger feed line than the -3an, i need a restrictor, too much oil getting into the turbo

valve seals normally, its the transistion form deep vacuum, where it sucks oil ontop of valves and you open up the trottle and suck it in.

or catchcan setup shooting oil into the intake... but normally this is valveseals.

Mine is only a littl poof when i come to a stop *sometimes* it doesnt do it every time. When my car was on the dyno it would to it after every pull when the revs dropped back down. so when vacuum changed.
