SEARCH!!! there's a million things on this, i just did my lsvtec.

yes its a huge differance, i wouldnt recommend stock internals, arp rod bolts and head studs atleast. people say u need a vtec oil pump and water pump (with gsr timing belt) but i dont think its necessary. higher compression pistons would be better too

it all depends on the head your using and etc. yes its worth it, youll be gettin a little bit more torque due to the ls crank and rods but i would get some high comp. pistons. I wouldnt recommend going LS/Vtec if you dont know wtf your doing and new to the game.

WOW motor swaps are easy haha ya think, if u think thats all it takes to do LS/VTEC is to switch over the head than search is your friend idiot. your gonna have to tap and plug a hole under the head, also your gonna need to go get your seld a good oil line kit(golden eagle) plenty other stuff go search idiot and dont argue with me, i built a LS/VTEC before so i would know noob

^^ i think this is the reason many LS/Vtecs never make it...
make sure you research this swap in detail before you attempt... not as easy as it seems (as you'll soon find out)

it doesn't hurt to search a lil. BUT like the other guys said it's not just taking off the ls head and installing a vtec head, that's just the main point of an lsv. Before you do the swap (if you're going to do it yourself) go get a helms booklet and dont reuse old vital neccessary parts like waterpump, oilpump, timing belt, tensioner, etc. click on "search" and type in lsvtec!
