Default B16A2 being turboed Few questions about cams and power

My B16 is having this whole kit installed at the moment. Then it will be tuned at RC Developments in the UK at 10psi which i'm hoping will be around the 270 flywheel hp mark. That is my target.

http://www.rcdevelopments.com/

How much power can I safely get from this setup?

In the UK there are not a lot of turbo hondas and a lot of people that I have spoken to say that I would have to get pistons, rods and get it sleeved to go anything over 6 or 7 psi on that turbo and even then I am taking a big risk on blowing the motor. But I have read a lot on here and the majority of people say that it is ok to go to 300WHP which is quite a bit over my target.

Another question is if I got a Type R intake cam and a GSR exhaust cam, would it be safer on the engine to run the same power but with less boost? Or is the engine still as strained with standard cams and more boost? I wouldn't want to rev it any higher.

Its also going to be run on 95 octane which is standard over here.

Thanks for your help.

ur not gonna strain the motor much, with a bigger cam u might wanna get better valvesprings and then u can rev that b16 to 9.200 rpm safely but it depends what itr cams u want, 00 itr cams will make power close to 9k.

From looking at this dyno graph the GSR cams make more power and torque all through the rev range, but i'd be looking at an 00 itr or ctr intake cam. It just means I can run less boost and get more power at all rpm.

Would the T3 Super 60, with an internal wastegate, hold boost to 9k rpm if I upgraded the springs?

It depends on the boost level you run with that turbo.

When I was in between turbo's on my car saving cash for another larger one, I ran a T3/super60 from air reasearch. It held 12 lbs on my 9:1 B16 to 8200 but it was close. If I tried to bump it up a bit to the 16 I normally ran on my 60-1, it would fall off to 13ish by 7500.
