Default Window problem

Alright so I have a 97 Civic EX and the window came out of the track again last night, the track near the tweeter pod. It's always slow and seems to stick as it goes up but when I removed the door panel to put it back on the track I didn't see anything it could be binding on. Any idea why it would keep popping out of the track? It's a major PITA to fix and the door panel is a pain to get back on because it's falling apart. Thanks.

Thanks. That's what it seems like. Any idea how to adjust them? I remember one long screw near the run channel that maybe you can adjust it with.

Yeah mine too, the window will come out of the track near the tweeter pod side, then it will actually get on the wrong side of the weatherstripping and get stuck when I try to roll it up. I think the problem is actually the doorhandle side track, don't think it's aligned right and so the tweeter side of the window is popping out.

i would still try replacing the weather stripping since you say it is kind of sluggish new stuff actuall has a like an oily type substance on it that eventually wears off after a some years and after it wears off the dry rubber creates friction which creates the sluggish part which can eventually wear out the motor. i would suggest just replacing it still

yea replace the channel (front or rear, or both if you want to be sure). My passenger window is fine after I replaced them. My drivers side just started doing this same crap. You can lube the channels for a while, but then it will make the problem worse once the lube dries out.

Also (probably unlikely) check and make sure that your window is actually sitting straight to begin with. If you pull off your door panel, you'll see these two feet that hold the window at the bottom. If one of those is even a little loose your window won't go up straight, which could be why its popping off the channel too.
