just finished a 5 speed swap and my throttle at low rpms jumps while i am driving in gear.

during idle you can rev the car and it revs happy, but when you start to drive it starts to bog and go bog again and go - but only at lower rpms - less than 3k - after that it is fine.

any ideas. not sure where to start.

car 91 civic ex 4 door with auto to manual swap

ps9 ecu still

btw - tps was working fine on other motor before whole swap
i did not check for codes yet, tomorrow morning i will though.

 

did you mess with the timing at all? did you adjust the clutch cable? thats weird

 

no i am going to mess with the timing today(on the dizzy side). the other timing is fine. clutch has been adjusted also. i will be posting my findings in an hour or so.

adjusted timing on dizzy.. runs better now, but when i let off the throttle in second gear it surges a bit. any ideas? clutch adjustment??

ive been having the same problem on my 91 si. if you figure it out let me know.

 

try doing your TPS voltage adjustment. .5 closed and 4.5 WOT

 

i'm not throwing codes, i doubt its tps
