TPS or Timing problem? (d16y7)
In first and second gear, throttle response randomly dissapears, and it feels like its misfiring. Pushing in the clutch lets it return to idle, then i can put it in gear and itll be fine. I think it may be the throttle position sensor, but its riveted to the throttle body. It could also be the timing, since im at around 100k miles, but it only happens in first and second gear at low rpms. Any ideas?

If you're at 100 miles you should change your belt soon before it breaks. But its not going to be you timing. And checking the TPS will be hard to do unless you have a scope. It doesn't sound like a TPS anyways. Thats going to be hard to fix because it could be anything. Maybe check other inputs like the MAP sensor
