that and a pressure washer cleans the bay up really nice. If you use the pressure washer though make sure you put bags over wire clips and anything else you dont want to force water on/into.

Yes sir Simple green the houshold formula not the automotive. The automotive work a little toooo good.

i use some kinda oven degreaser, works really well and dosnt hurt the ceramic and other metalic sufaces... use either Meguires wipes or Armor All spray for the rubber/plastic surfaces. Q-tips work great for the hard to reach spots. and i use wax for the metal and such.
but being you live in illionis most people probably dont see the salt oxidation that gets on the engines from snow ........... im telling you a strong aluimnm wheel cleaner will work magic on your motor
