Default engine decreaser

is there an engine decreaser out there that doesnt make an unpleasant smell after its been washed, i need to decrese my engine again but i dont want that nasty smell in my car

first its spelled degreaser but if u go to a discount auto parts or pepboys it got a degreaser in a Black bottle its cheape and works real good. only smells when u first use it but smell washes off after u rinse off the engine.

haha... what kind of creases were you having? Maybe you folded your engine and it left a big crease?lol?

anyway, any oil eater product or Simple green should do the trick. you can even use brake cleaner on tough spots.

I did see a new citrus based engine cleaner at pep boys the other day. Should smell like oranges

Simple Green works wonders. You can also get those small protable steam cleaners off Ebay for around $40 and they're safer to use than hosing your engine down.
