Wassup guys, im throwin my turbo kit $$$ on the line finally an goin BOOOOOOOST..!! Prolly goin with the turbonetics T3 turbo kit with intake a/r 42 exhaust a/r 48 just something with quick lil spoolin action.. Anyways, i live in Cape Coral which is dead smack SW FLA... "naples, fort myers, port charlotte, sanibel" are my surrounding areas... Anyone located around any of these areas who would classify as a credible tuner..?? I'm going to need to get my FMU an all that but was hoping someone on here would be local enough to help me out with ordering parts, installing them, an tuning when complete... Anyone available..?

i have a motor built for n/a basically, so i'm going to be changing a lot and one of the guys who works at local performance shop told me the **** i should get cuz it's basically what he had an he ran boost for 2+ years no engine problems "i kno for a fact its tru cuz i kno the car"..But i have the JDM single cam... D15B which from what I also hear is the best of the single cams to boost.. But I have intake, headers, full exhaust, chipped ecu "tuned to gsr specs w/ no rev limiter" but I bought the ecu like that.. Ummmm, just basically everything bolt on u kno, nothing that would help me if i boost thats why im plannin on spendin some cash.. i have about $2500 saved up an from all my math work that almost seems like enough to make a little bit of power...

Well the d15b is the same as the d16z6. there is a thread somewhere around here saying why you shouldnt run a fmu. You can run chrome and use that and also there are people that can tune it. get rid of that high as rev limit cause its pointless and is just doing more damage then anything. With that amount i can slap together a nice nice turbo kit installed for you. or for a lil less get you all the parts. Im in Orlando. If you look at my sig you can see my old setup, and that was with 1200 bucks. Im on aim so you caan hit me up Sohcvtect1995. or email sohcvtect1995@hotmail. Myspace.com/sohcvtec1995 if your interested let me know and i can pm you my number.

i found someone actually through a friend thats local an chips an tunes using chrome so looks like im in luck.. I've had turbo vehicles before, so I'm pretty smart on certain areas of installing boost but other areas im sorta shady on.. Like performance of BOV an Wastegate an such... He said he can get me a cast iron manifold that will work better than any other manifold im'a get my hands on, but as far as kits go, he said hes seen plenty of kits on EBAY run perfectly fine on cars, like the SSAUTOCHROME kit he mentioned was a pretty reliable kit besides the manifolds are known to crack an stuff so yeah im still indecisive pretty much, any ideas on that topic...??

those bold and italicized statements you made are so contradicting...ssautochrome is not reliable...many of people have been driving down the road and the turbo pretty much come unglued and send turbine housings and such through the hood...you need to rethink your methods since your smart about turbo'd cars. go search the classified on here and you will find some descent deals...but dont use an fmu, dont buy ssautochrome junk or anything similiar on ebay

I had a stock turbo celica, stock turbo eclipse, an never claimed that i personally thought SSAUTOCHROME was good, just from stuff i've heard using there kits an piecing in ur own parts here an there worked fine. And I didnt say I was a turbo genius just stated that I've had turbo vehicles before so i'm aware of the issues some of them have an the maintainance for the most part.. Wasnt tryna sound like a brainiac just asking for input thats all...
