turbo kit.. fuel management?
i have a 95 gs-r (completely stock).. i am about to put a t04e 57 trim turbo on it.. as far as fuel management goes i have the fmu it came with and s-afc 2.. i am only going to run 5.5 to 6.5 psi.. (running the vaccum from the compressor to the wastegate)
i am not going to touch the s-afc 2 unless i get a wideband or at least egt.
question: if i put this kit on what are the chances that somethin goes terribly wrong.. cause i am putting on this weekend and if i get an egt it wont get here till sometime the next week.. and if i want a wideband i have to wait until next month.
so basiclly i wouldn't tune the car.. it would just use the fmu.. is that safe..i am sure people have done it... any input please

I blew my motor using the FMU at only 7 psi. Not to say that you would, but people have gotten away with using it. I'd say save up and use hondata, uberdata, or something like that.

I'd say save up and get something like hondata, neptune, or uberdata etc. Rather be safe than sorry. Im waiting for the local tuner to get neptune then i'll put my kit on. Dont take the chance of blowing you motor. You have the kit, just be patient.
