I am looking for a QUIET 2.75 or 3" muffler that I could put on the end of my 2.75 or 3" piping that is being made. I will probably be running the Kamikaze header and I will also include a big resonator in the system. I want this exhaust to be as quiet as possible. I will be boosting around 10 psi on a custom supercharger. Do you have any suggestions on a muffler I could run? I like the sound to be smooth and deep, with absolutely no 'blatty, raspy, bee-can' sounds. For reference, I like the Mugen twinloop, and hate the 3" Thermal (too much blat and high pitch). As you can tell I am **** on this subjet. Any advice or suggestions you care to offer?

good luck, u arent queiting a 3in exhaust down, best luck would be to get a es oval muffler and fill it with socks

stay away from thermal if u want quiet

 

what about the apexi n1 with the option of a silencer

 

universal magnaflow muffler, 22" magnaflow resonator, and 3" tip. thats what i have...sounds unbelievable. quiet and low.

Haha, I know it's a hard request, but thanks for the fast responses. I have read before that if you like the Mugen-ish sound, but can't afford the twinloop, then the ES oval is for you. With a little bit of research, I found that ES also makes and offset oval muffler in a 3". Do you think this sounds right for me? We don't have to have cats here anymore, so I was thinking of a resonated testpipe, big *** resonator, and the the 3" ES oval for my setup. All the designs are straight-through, so hopefully it won't hurt performance too much. Let me know what you think, and I'm also open to new suggestions.
