to be more percise, its probably teh ICM (ignitor) in the dizzy, do u get missing when u are in the upper RPMS?

had 1 go in my JDM b16 and i took an ignitor out of a CRX dizzy and it worked fine. change it soon cause eventually it will leave u stranded like it did to me and i had to tow my cvic home with my cousins DA teg lol

I was told that is due to a spark plug blowing out or malfunctioning. I had that problem on my 89 accord. a set of ngk plugs and wires fixed it.

take off your cap and rotor you will see 4 plugs. take them out one at a time use pliers to crunch it a little and put some dialectric grease. do it to all four replace cap and rotor and voila no more crazy tach. shouldnt take more than 5 minutes unless your rotor screw is stripped
