New squealing..
Alright, it has something to do with the throttle. With the throttle at a certain percentage, a squealing is heard....as long as I am right at that position, it will squeal...pressing further it goes away, less throttle neither.
Any ideas?
It's annoying as hell..just happens to be the position that I generally accel at.

Check your belts... Lube them up with WD-40 and see if the squealing persists. If that doesn't help your P/S pump may need to get serviced or changed. It could really be a number of things but I think what I am saying is most common. Especially for older vehicles.
I don't think it'd have anything to do with P/S, it's about the throttle position. I will check the belts though....it doesn't do it at a certain RPM, but at a position of the gas pedal, it does it all the way up until the max RPM of the pedal position....that doesn't seem like it makes much sense.
This is a fairly common problem with 90-93 Integras, and maybe it will be with 94-01 as they get older. My understanding is that it is a problem with lack of lubrication for the speedo cable boot that goes through the firewall and into the gauge cluster. There is a write-up about it on g2ic.com, but basically it sounds like birds chirping at certain speeds (you may also notice your speedo needle shaking a bit). You will want to remove the VSS from the tranny, to give the cable some slack, then take out your entire gauge cluster and pull it away from your dash. You will then be able to unhook the speedo cable from the back of the cluster, lube the boot up with some multipurpose grease, then plug it back in, put the cluster back in the dash, then hook up the VSS again, and hopefully the problem goes away.

94-01 Integras do not have a speedo cable.
To the OP, are you hearing an intake whistle?

Gotta love new (or ten year old) technology. I am assuming he is talking about a problem with the 93 GSR in his sig though. Of course, if it's a 94-01 integra, ignore everything I just typed.

Here is the how-to thread from g2ic, if you scroll down, the guy re-hosted the pics so you can see what's going on.

The intake always has a hissing sound..not close to what I hear from the throttle. I hear it at a certain position, the speed doesn't matter...would it still be the speedo cable?
