help: sticking throttle pedal
Hi
I have a 90 civic si and the throttle pedal feels like it does stick a bit.
when i'm on the gas its fine...its when i let off completely (stop and go) and press the throttle and it sticks and lets go, so its really hard to feather the throttle....any ideas?
thanks
franklin

haha this reminds me when i had my old grand am....i had a sticking throttle problem, but it was due to a loose motor mount????? haha im glad i sold that POS
Check the butterfly in the throttle body, clean all the carbon out surrounding the
butterfly, most of the time it's that and not the throttle cable.
