92 gsr ABS removal - damn that **** is HEAVY!!
started removing my abs from my 92 gsr, and DAMN it is HEAVY!!
I'm doing a full removal of all the abs related parts. So far it's not that hard.
I pulled my B17 yesterday for a new swap coming in sometime when HMO gets the tranny I want in.
but I will keep everyone updated on how it goes and what they need to to.

When removing the ABS, is there any kind of kit that you need to put in its place?

why are you removing the ABS? i mean, why do you need the weight reduction? is this car going to be solely tracked?

I use to drive a DA with ABS and let me tell you that ABS sucked, it would only work when it wanted to and it just horrible

3rd gens have wonderful abs.... ive never driven a car where the abs unit worked so well..... other cars still lock up or mess up and lock up one whell or two wheels sending you some entertaining moments.....
but yeah dont compare the da and dc.... they have small similarities... same blood line.... but different upbringings..

You have one of the best cable trannys honda makes what more could you want? As for swaping out the b17... i know it makes your car fell very slow but that motor has alot of potential, it has the "ultimate" stroker crank but if you dont want to mess with internals just throw a newer gsr block in and you have a poor poor mans type r
