what should i use
There are a few ways to do it, installing a switch on a relay control line would only require a low current switch, [1A max], installing a switch on a main power line, will require a 15A-20A switch, or a relay.
IMO the best way is to install a switch on the fuel pump relays control lead, [low current ground] it runs from the ECM/ECU to the fuel pump relays coil in the PGM-Main Relay, [the PGM-Main Relay has 2 relays inside, one is the fuel pump power and the other is the fuel injectors power] the color of the wire varies from model to model and year to year.
