Default starting issue after kill switch install

The car is a 1990Integra. I recently installed a fuel pump kill switch which runs a switch inline with the fuel pump power wire. Sometimes after disarming the car's switch it doesnt start. The switch is rated at 15A -125vac, 10a-250vac. It turns over but I think I'm getting no fuel. Kinda like when my main relay went south on my CRX. It cranks but doesnt fire up. If I choose not to arm the kill switch it will fire up every time, its only when I arm/disarm that the car does not want to start and when it does decide to start it bogs for a second before smoothing out. Any ideas?

Bad contacts on the switch, [internal].

Remove the switch from the fuel pump power line, replace it with a small 1A switch and install it on the PGM-FI Main Relay ground, [ground for fuel injector relays coil] it will shut down the fuel pump, injectors, one of the ECU/ECMs powers and a few engine sensors.

The ground is a low current ground, [under 250mA] so less problem with arcing at the contacts, a 1A switch is a lot easier to hide also. 94

Does it have anything to do with the fact that the switch is rated VAC instead of VDC? I'd like to keep the switch in the location it is along the fuel pump wire.

No it makes no diff.
If you leave the switch on the fuel pump power lead, you will continue to run into arcing at the contacts problems, so replace switch with a better quality one. 94
