check the main fuse in the under hood box, it's the biggest one, you can't miss it.
Out of curiosity what wire did you connect to the starter??

I'd start with replacing the battery with one that you know works. hopefully your ecu isn't toast

you shot 12v into the ground for the whole engine harness and ECU. replace your battery and pray

if its not the batt, and you switched ecu's, it turns on but dosen't try to crank, I'd say the starter

oh, well that's it then. your battery has a dead cell, connecting the postive to chassis ground is bad for it

Since you replaced the ECU it could be the ELD.

Electronic Load Detector. It's in your under hood fuse box I believe. Be sure you have power going into it and not out of it 1st.

ok. no more problem.. before when i first tried to fir it.. the positive running to the start bolted up and then leaned up against the starter.. so it burnt a whole in the rubber and like welded itsef to the starter.. causing the dead cell in the battery like some of you said.. and major sparks connecting the battery.. so not everything all good.. car was running fine.. took it for a test drive and the clutch gave out when i was showin the dude who wanted to buy it.. worst timing but **** happens.. now i need a new sohc clutch and put it in by tomorrow.. which means more work that i dont feel like doin..
