OK, Current engine setup.

stock y7 with a y8 head, vtec solinoid is there, but nothing hooked up.

Everything is year 2000

Just bought a 99 EX ECU (to keep it OBD2b) and I was wondering whether or not I need to upgrade to the EX injectors (190cc vs 240cc)

And also, if I do upgrade to 240cc, will I be able to use the y7 IM until I upgrade?

I have a friend that has a y8 IM laying at his work, but I'm iffy on it because it used to have pencil sized bullet holes in it (he got it off some government target car lol) but it was JB welded, sanded inside and out, looks great, but I've heard bad **** about JB welded stuff.
