Default y7 into a 99 ex... ftw!!!!!

So I picked up a d16y7... long story short I'm gonna run the y7 with no vtec and my y8 mani. From what I have been reading around people who run it have to do some sensor swapping and jb welding of the air injection holes... but seeing how my car is just an EX I can just bolt up the mani. Plug in all my original sensors keep the air injection and call it a day right?

wont have to do anything except mount it just as if it was mounted on the y8

you will wanna pick up a y7 ecu as well, but could get away w/ running the y8 ecu as long as you wanted but using the ecu to corresponding motor would be best

y8 ecu fuel maps would be a bit off, y7 uses 190cc injectors while the y8 uses 240cc. y7 ecu also uses three wire iacv, manual y8 is a 2 wire, auto y8 is a three wire. i believe you do need to remove the air injection but i dont remember for sure.
