i need to know what goes in that hole next to the oil filter on the right side, it has threads in it, im guessing its a sensor but what happens is when i start to put coolant in my radiator it all leaks out this hole and the motor is a b16a2

 

Its for oil cooler set up, it goes between the block and oil filter, GSR block has one also.

by the way you have a 12mm nut chillin right below that opening.

does it matter if i bypass it and just stick a screww in that hole

 

by the way does anyone know the size of that hole so i know what size bolt to put in there

actually to me, it looks like a freeze plug hole, if coolant runs through it.

 

so what does that mean that doesn't help me

 

do u know for sure if oil or coolant comes out of there?

Pretty sure that thing on the upper left is the knock sensor

coolant come out of that hole and not the one on the top left its to the right side of the oil filter

 

just plug it!!! its chill!

 

what do i pug it with a bolt and which size bolt

The only man who knows what hes talking about.

There should be a washer and a short stubby bolt that plugs and seal it. Most blocks should have it intacted most of the time. If your missing it, go to Honda and buy a freeze plug bolt and washer. Doubt you can find it anywhere else.

 

just plug it up. i think a 17mm bolt will work. on the 1st gens that was the oil cooler passage. but now the b16a2 doesnt have it.
