Default Choosing a daily driver turbo for an LS.

OK, so far this forum has been great with the help I've gotten choosing components. Now I've come to my turbo choice.
My 90 DA is my daily driver and I drive quite a bit in traffic, in fact every day for at least 1.5 hrs. I'm worried about overheating, etc. Who isn't? Living in Atlanta, the summer temperatures will hit 100+ while sitting there, so I will be running the A/C. I know I won't be boosting in traffic, etc., but I need good driveability. On the crux of it, I drive a LOT on the highway, usually for more than an hour a stretch, and that is where I like to have some fun when traveling with friends, so I'll be sitting around 3800rpm for quite a bit while driving.

The setup will be a rev-hard log, HKS wastegate (unless I go internal), 2.5" pipe. My horsepower goals are around, for NOW, 250-275hp. Turbo choices are a .57 trim, .50A/R compressor, .63 A/R turbine, OR a .57 (I think) trim . 42 A/R compressor, .48 A/R turbine.

Am I expecting too much out the .42 trim turbo? I am worried about heat production from pushing such a small turbo so far. Will the .42 compressor produce more heat than the $$$ savings is worth Will the larger turbo be too laggy on a LS for good normal use? With a .50 compressor I don't think it will be, but I have never had a turbo FWD, so I don't know.

Edit: Something else to consider. Given this is a daily driver, I will probably go with a EBC to turn the boost down some - don't need 20psi for doing 20mph What is a good one?

Thanks

I got a t3 60/63. Also wondering how the daily driveability/reliablity is, I know its mostly tune, but still, parts failure, etc, etc. besides doing oil changes way more frequent.

Out of you choices, I like the .63. For your goals, try to get a big exhaust housing to stay out of boost around town, and make awesome power. I am susing a GT28E with a .60/.80 and it is PERFECT for a DD. Full boost at 4k in second gear, instant spool in 5th over 55mph.

i ran a 57 trim .63 exhaust on an ls for 15,000 miles. id get a t3 60 or super 60 trim. the powerband on the t3/t4 was too peaky. id rather (for daily) have my power from 4k-6k than 5000-6500
