first off, if you're going to boost using the stock sleeves, I would just hone them or bore them out a very SMALL amount. You can get better sleeves, but the f22bx's are cast anyways, so no need to. shoot for 9-9.5:1 CR after everything is said and done ... well atleast that's what i've been told to do when I go turbo
factory ratio is 8.8:1 so if you go even 9:1 you will gain an ever so slight bump in power due to the great compression. I doubt it will even be noticeable but that is a good comp for boost. Higher comp will help slightly to spool a turbo faster. Take your block to a machine shop and have them check the cylinders and see if they are round. If they say it will clean up with just a hone get standard sized forged pistons. I would probably just go ahead and get the .020 over pistons that way you can be sure they will line up properly.
I will have closer to 10:1 comp in my boosted f22b1 motor but I am designing the engine around that for the turbo and power level I am shooting for.
Are you planning to use aftermarket rods or just putting some arp's in there and using the stockers?
