Default quick obd2 to obd1 p28 question, missing at startup, rich

wanted to run a stock p28 on my 96 because the cat;s gone, car still does run good on obd2, but the obd1 feels smoother and better

at startup, it misses and wont idle, like my teg after putting a big str TB on it with out the secondary idle thing on the bottom.

after warming, its fine and drives great. you guys think its a TB issue? and a obd1 with coolant flowing through will help?

Any codes? I'm guessing not, but hell, ya never know. Did you ***** with the ect compensation or anything like that that would affect not normal operating temperatures?

i ran both a stock p28 and a chipped p28 running a stock program. thought it was the harness( freind made it) but it runs fine after warm. acts just like my built integra, at startup its lumpy and rich, and if i lean it out in crome, it idles lean after warm, so i live with it, although i'd like to clear it up.(this started after getting a 74mm str TB on there)

i cant have this on teh 96 ex, its the dailey car

Does leaning out the warm up help on the teg? You can always just lean out the warm up part in the advanced tables part of crome. It must be something acting crummy with a sensor. Try unplugging **** and seeing how it affects things. That's part of how I discovered my iacv problem.

it did a little, but like i said, i seen it leaning out after warm up.

as soon as the teg is started, it goes to 750 and trys to idle, it wont idle up when cold liek it used to with the factory bored out TB

If you adjust the ECT correction factors you can lean it out only during warm up and it uses the same normal temp fuel maps.

Hell, I dunno, try working off a p30 base. It's in one of the drop downs on the top right area too.

Well, that's what I thought I was talking about? Is this a del sol with an obd2 p28?

I'm slightly confused why the ecu would create such a problem just from going obd2 to obd1, hopefully someone can give a reason why and a fix.
