Default huh??

Hey HT whats up,
Alright, I've eliminated all of my check engine codes but one. Here's my setup, 97 civic , 97 ls engine, bone stock. When I run the p75 obds2 ecu, which is what I intend to run for emmisions sake, I get code 14, IACV, but if I use my 975 obd1 ecu I dont get any codes. Now my question is why am I getting this code in obd2 but not in obd1?

Maybe because that code was stored in the KAM (keep alive memory) in the ECU. Blow the code and you'll have no more problem....

Assuming that everything is wired up correctly...
I've knoticed that OBDII ecu's are a hell of a lot more picky and if something is even slightly amiss it'll throw a code. OBDI ecu's will damn near run on two cylinders w'out throwing a code at all.

Check and see if the IACV is working with both ecu's first. If it is, then start looking for minor vacuum leaks or a mis-set idle.
