i have a 96 obd2 honda prelude that i blew the motor in, i got a 2.3vtec blue top and had a friend of mine drop in it and wire it up, i used an obd2 to an obd1 converter, and got a p06 chipped an tuned ever since i put the motor in the car ive had i code 9 im using a obd1 dizzy and and as of today i now have code 3 , code 7,and code 9 my main concern is to get rid of the code 9 as the other two r just recent i deal with those later my question is " does ne 1 know how to deal with this cause im lost" and short of buying a new dizzy again i dont know what to do?

Read the FAQ, in the description on retrieving codes, it tells you what those codes mean.

I'm guessing you are using a boomslang or equivalent, I don't have any experience with the conversion, but from what I have read, you don't need to change your distributor to OBD1, thats what the conversion harness is for. Would make sense that you are getting a code 9, which is for No. 1 CYLINDER POSITION (CYL SENSOR), because OBD2 is on front of engine and OBD1 is in distributor. Conversion harness is looking for this to come from front of engine. if you still have it, try putting the OBD2 distributor back on and trying it that way.
