ecu help needed

Default ecu help needed

i'm changing the head of my sohc d15b8 motor which is a 8 valve with a d15b7 16 valve head do i need to change the ecu or can i run with the same ecu
if i need to change which one should i use

get a p28 or an vafc.

you might need to change ECUs. not to sure though. u can try the ECU that u have, if it runs like crap then u know it might be your ECU. i would get a P28 if anything.

If you wanna run lean and with dramatically different timing tables, run a p05.

But to run it right, get a p06, and a 4 wire.

easiest way is to chip it, and run P06 maps on the ecu. Otherwise find yourself P06 or JDM P29/P76 ecu

you can use the same one. You dont need to change it unless you will be using vtec.
