Default ECU tech gurus

Yeah I might be doing a swap on this one car and I wonna save that person some money by chipping the ECU to run a jdm d15b. The ecu is p05 so I was wondering what will I need to do. like remove the stock 28 pin chip, put in a socket for the rom, and what's up with the whole eprom and intalling 20pin chip which I just don't get. also where do I put in the resistor. Also I would like for the ECU to still run 1 wire o2 since it only affects the warm up and p08 and my friends chipped p06 runs 1 wire. Does anybody have a good write up on chipping? I coverted few p28s from auto to manual so I don't think I will screw this up. And I also heard that some ECU are not chippable.

are you trying to just chip the P05 (cx) ecu with a P08/P28 chip? if so there is vtec hardware needed for the p05 , depending on the board used on the ecu you may need slightly different parts.

for chipping look in my sig.
