DC5 brembo calpiers
civic type R and S2k share the same pads, DC5 is essentially the same as type R undercarriage, so I guess it would fit, but why would you do that? get a good set of pads and maybe brembo grovved disks and you're the brake man.....!

Last I remember, the caliper bolts up to the steering knuckle but the rotor offset/spacing is off. I wonder if you used DC5 rotors on the s2000 hub, that DC5 caliper might work but I'm not sure if the hub diameter on the s2000 is the same as the DC5.

i have ferodo ds2500 pads which are very good, but the dc5 brembos are 4 pot and look cool!
i've done a bit of research and many say the caliper does not fit.

From what I remember reading a while back, is that the DC5 and AP use the same size caliper brackets (makes sense seeing that the Spoon calipers for the S2000 and the RSX are the same with no need for any brackets).
However, the DC5r suspension setup is different from the DC5. You may have to get some custom caliper brackets made to mount the DC5r brembos to your S2000.
Have you looked into using the TL Brembos?

im currently working on a conversion for my s2000. here on some pics of the TL brembos that im doing for a HT member (Jon V). TL brembos are the same as the DC5R brembos.
here are some pics of the calipers after i machined the caliper mounting points.

Will these bolt on to USDM RSXes then?

hey len, can you double check the thread pitch on the caliper bolts for the USDM rsx and cross reference with the thread pitch on the TL brembos?

if the statement from luder94 holds true about DC5 and AP using the same brackets, then these should fit.
if someone wants to send me a DC5 knuckle... i can confirm this.

Actually Den,
Off the premise that the DC5 and the AP1 Spoon calipers (monoblock desing) fit with no brackets, then the TL Brembos (which you are saying are just like the JDM DC5R Brembos), then you will need a custom bracket.
The DC5 and the DC5R are NOT compatible with each other. Let me do a bit of searching over at ClubRSX.com. I'll have to do it a bit later in the day....in the meanwhile, if you anyone else can do some research, please have at it.

I would assume that the stock Brembos wouldn't fit under AP1 wheels, but may fit with the AP2 wheels. TL's and ITR (DC5R) com stock with 17" wheels.

they TL brembos fit under 16in wheels. the brembos will work on a s2k as i have already test fitted on mine. i will post pics. heres a pic of the clearance on a 16in kosei. it will need a spacer and longer studs though. im just waiting on a few more parts to come in.
fwiw, the TL rotors and DC5R rotors are the same size with different offset on the hat.

about the tl 6 speed cailpers, I work at a honda dealer here in va and was curious to see if those cailpers would fit my ap1 so I was bored one day and got one of our trade ins.So first I tryed putting my wheel on the tl and the offset and wheel size were way off but the tl wheel fit on my ap1 fine.Second the cailper bracket on the tl has 19mm bolt compared to the 17mm on a s2k?

correct about the bolt size. they also use different thread pitches. in order to use the 19MM bolt you will need to drill out the 2 holes where the caliper mounts to. i did not want to do that so the caliper where timeserted to change the bolt diameter and thread pitch. the caliper are able to mount to the knuckle using the 17mm bolts.
