Default Need a few swap questions answered. harness/sensors, axles, mounts etc!

im swapping in a b16 obd1 motor into my 96 coupe. i was told i can use the stock mounts, except for the back one? i was told it needs to come out of a 94+ integra?

my second question is, what axles will i need? if i order from hmotorsonline and get the complete swap it says it comes with axles which im pretty sure are b16/si axles..will these work?

third question, im going to use my stock harness and use a obd1 to obd2 conversion harness. what sensors..or which plugs will be left unconnected on the new motor? i need to make sure the cel doesnt come on and that it will pass emissions. so what additional wiring other than plug and play will i have to do?

the fourth is, what about radiator hoses? i was told i can use the stock top one but use a del sol dual core lower? what year if this is true?

if anyone has any other comments about things im going to run into that i havent covered let me know please! thanks a lot guys.

you will need 99-00 si rear T bracket. reuse the 2 top mounts from your car, use the front a/c bracket and front tranny bracket from any b series motor 94-00.

reuse your wiring harness rewire inj. harness to run obd1 injectors or buy some obd2 injectors plug n play.

repin dist to obd2a plugs or buy obd2 dist

repin alternator to fit obd2a plugs or buy obd2 alternator

you can use delsol dohc hoses.

you will need obd2a to obd1 conversion harness to run the p30 ecu.

This swap is not smog legal in california. i would suggest you get a 99-00 si b16 motor

these people are complete idiots, you can use y8 injectors as long as you use obdII injector plugs.

You need 99-00 si rear mount, y8 tranny mount, 99-00 si block mount (drivers side), use your stock drivers side mount, and all the other mounts are the same. I suggest sticking with y8 harness just extend o2 sensor wires, IAT wires, and some other **** I'm forgetting. You will want to use obdI ecu get a conversion harness.

Use 94-01 integra or 92-00 civic (b series) axles.

And yes you can find all this info if you search. Usually I would just tell you to search but this guys are being ******** and giving the wrong info.

ok cool but when you say:"99-00 si block mount (drivers side), use your stock drivers side mount" and there are two tranny mounts, one uses bolts, the other uses nuts...would it be better to buy a mount kit? are there any complete mount kits that come with everything i need so i dont have to search for individual mounts? and also, would you recommend hmotorsonline? or another place? where is the iat sensor, or better yet..what does iat stand for? i know these motors back and front, just never done a swap. thanks for the info, and yeah, i have searched and read almost everything in the archive.

no you need to change the metal mount that bolts into the block behind the timing cover (99-00si). Leave the drivers side mount alone. B series torque mounts (92-00 civic 94-01 integra), those are the ones that bolt up on the bottom infront the engine and tranny. Use your top tranny mount out of y8. And Use 99-00si rear mount.

IAT should be on the b16 Intake matifold that you are swapping in, as opposed to y8 on the intake arm. That's why you might need to extend the wires.

I've got one problem that I am running into now. I've been reading about what you said on the trans mount. I have HX and the tranny mount will not bolt up. So do I need one from a B-Series if I am reading this right?
