Default Question about engine swap!!!

I have a 98 civic ex coupe and want to do a b16 swap, but i have a few questions.

has anyone done this swap? if so, what problems or useful information can you offer.

if you get the wiring harness for the new engine, can't you just run the new harness into the kickpanel where the new ecu will be located?

Thank you,
Heinvenkin

Get the OBD1 engine...B16 second gen motor, hydro tranns, axles, some minor mounts, use the stock harness from the car, and get the OBD1 ecu. Then get a OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness. If you need one, I can get it. If you can find a 99-00 Si motor, then I would get that. Get the complete swap and all you need is some minor mounts, and some basic wiring. Also, as for the harness into the kickpanel goes.....you cant do that. The harness is also connected to the dash and all that other crap. Use the stock harness and make it work.
