Default my DA wont start after new head work done

im trying to start my buddies 91 LS after I put on a rebuilt head and new timing belt. The timing is right on the money and did a valve adjustment to the head prior to installing it on the bottom end. .009ex .007 intake. New plugs and wires. I try and turn it over and it doesnt start, i have fuel and spark. after turning it over after a while it begins to want to start and then finally starts for a couple seconds then dies and the whole process begins again. any body have any ideas? no codes are being thrown.

Yeah im positive on the timing, cams line up and im at top dead center. dizzy is right in the middle. crank woodruff key is right in the middle when both cams were lined up. thats right, right?

Try this, unbolt your dizzy and hold it in place. Now have someone crank while you slowly turn the dizzy. See if it starts, just a thought. I've seen that work.

timing is 5-10degrees after top dead center. make sure that it is in that spectrum.

timing. if you have perfect timing, fuel and spark it would start simple as that. only other thing could be compression
