Default how to replace distributor

hey guys i need some help , what do i need to know in order to replace my distributor. please help me out i need to change it. any help will be appreciated, i have a 90 4 door ex. thnks

Unplug the plug wires and mark them (or whatever you have to do in order to remember where they went). There are 3 bolts that hold the distributor to the head - you may have to remove the air intake to access them all. Before you remove the distributor, note the placement of the distributor where those 3 bolts mount to the head. You can twist the distributor to advance or retard the timing, but just leave it as it was.
After you unplug it, the distributor should slide right out. Spin the shaft of the new distributor so that the notch lines up with the cam, then just bolt it up, reattach everything. Give it hell.
