ecu or injector?????
my ecu is throwing code 16(fuel injector)_...im running a pm6 and its running rich as hell... one of my friends broke the needle in my injector so we stuck a b16 injector to replace it. but i dont know if its the ecu, since its the pm6 instead of the the pr3, or the injector? any help is appreciated (sorry i had put code 6 earlier).

hmm well if you put in a b16 injector aren't those this high impedance injectors?
In an ideal situation you would want to have the same injectors that were designed for your engine.

you need to run the right injectors. with the car running put a screwdriver tip on the injector body. put your ear on the end of the screwdriver. you should hear a clicking sound if the injector is firing. i do not know if the b16 is a high impedence or not but if it is, then it's not a simple solution because it will not be getting the current it needs. the high impedence injectors have built in resisitors while the low impedence need the resistor box. find some used a6 injectors from a yard or ebay. also don't forget to reset the ecu.

And without a working one, the car wont know how much fuel to give. most cars dont even start without one. And it can cause the car to run very rich.

its code 16...its the injector... i honestly think its the impedance... i may just switch out my resistor box along with the other three injectors to the b16 injectors and see how it runs... thanks for the input guys.

if you're going to do that, you'll have to make a cutoff plug to plug into the engine side of the reistor box wiring, unless you don't plan on using the resisitor box again. then you can just cut the harness side wires and solder them together.

alright... well i switched out the computer so now im actually running the pr3 and got another set of ls injectors... i had hasport do the wiring so i dont know what could potentially be the problem... i havent checked for the turning on and off of each injector, plan to do that tomorrow. does anyone have any pictures of what the wires are supposed to look like off the resistor box for obd0?
im still running obd0 with a resistor box... everythings changed, the ecu and the injectors... still dumping open fuel from the #3 injector... its not clicking off... anyone have a picture of the way the ecu wires look like>? and or of the resistor box wiring as well?? i know its the blue and yellowish wire that runs on #3injector... but would like to know where the hell it actually goes.
