Default 02 Sensor Questions?

I have a CEL so i took it to honda and had them hook it up and they said that it is my 02 that is causeing the CEL. BUT it goes off at times so i was just thinking that maybe it is clogged up and it could be cleaned. They also said that it was my primary sensor which i figured if anything it would be my secondary sensor since i have the DC sport RH. Any ideas. I really dont have the couple hundred dollars to be buying new 02 Sensors.

Secondly is it bad on the car to be running with a bad 02 sensor?

dont run your car on a bad primary o2...that will screw with all your cars adjustments in fuel.....

i had a CEL because of my secondary o2 sensor, turned out it was my CAT that went bad after boosting for a while.

This is by far one of the best deal on a o2 sensor, even includes the plug.

Cleaning an o2 sensor, Im not sure this would do anything... but hey, what bad can happen if it is already screwed up right. A few sprays of carb-cleaner and a clean rag that should be ok.

Although sensors dont seem to fade or break while being repariable. Kinda like a lightbulb, if it goes IT GOES!

If it was your primary o2 sensor (controls A/F) your car would definaetly run worse than normal (although it may be slight). You secondary o2 is in charge of your car so you might wanna think about an o2 sim.
