CYP sensor?? Important or can i leave it for a while

CYP sensor?? Important or can i leave it for a while
after changin my rotor and cap and using lots of force, i think i damaged the CYP sensor inside it. being a brokeass bum, will i be fine drivin it around or should i really change it and what is the worst that could happen

I cant remember but I think thats the crank posi sensor right..?? whatever. I think at worst it will **** up your timing but I am pretty sure it will mess with your fuel. I would probably get that fixxed ASAP.

I have a good friend that works for a rebuild company and they rebuild dizzy's. If you want, I can ask him if you can just change the sensor instead of getting a new one. I get him to rebuild all my stuff (alternator, starter, dizzy, etc.) and he knows what he is doing .

I asked him and he said that you can just replace the crank position sensor. He said you will need some small special tools though. He said that often when they rebuild dizzy's they will replace it.
