Default quick turbo oil question

so i work at a good year auto service center in pleasanton(anyone need anything ?) and i was wondering if i can use the oil we use on every car which is a "synthetic blend" on my turbo ZC crx. its just about time for a oil change and we all know fully syn. is helllla expensive... just wondering , i know i shoudl ask the FI forum but it take a while to get answers there. reason im asking is becuase i get that oil for free

thanx in advance HT

Run Mobil 1 0w-40, It's better to run a thicker oil when It's going to be exposed to the heat of a turbo.

I run valvoline 10w 30 on my turbo zc. Done it for 6k miles now with no problems. I change my oil every 1500 miles tho.

0w40 is thin when it's cold (the 0winter part) and thick when it's hot (the 40 part).
