B16a build or b18a1?

B16a build or b18a1?
Well i've got an ls motor in my hatch right now. I was just ganna boost that and call it a day. But i've got an extra ls block and a b16 shortblock laying around. I've been thinking about building the b16, but I dunno if I would be wasting my time since I already have an ls in my car. What do you guys think would be the better setup in the end. I want to put the ls crank in the b16 and run it all motor with 50-75 shot of nitrous. And with the ls all i would do is boost it 7-8lbs. I dunno, what would you guys do? and could someone tell me more about the ls crank in a b16. Thanks.

why dont u look into doing a ls/vtec. i dont know about the ls crank into the b16 block though, sorry. a b16 wouldnt handle the ls tranny well (if that is what you have)

If I am not mistaken, The ls crank with increase the stroke in the b16, which will be like a b18, you won't have to do a vtec conversion because your using the b16 block. So your basically looking at a 1.8 liter b16, and get a good tranny, and you'll be set .Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thats pretty much what I was thinking. Im not sure what displacement you would then have with the ls crank in the b16, but I figure the reliability would be better than a frankinstien motor.
