oil's good.
ground wire's good.
switched out pressure solenoid already.

what else could be the problem?
the plug's bad?
or the vtps wire's bad? <--it's cut and connected at 2 locations.
like this [plug----+-------+-----ecu]
could that be the problem?

vtec kicks for like 10 secs then dies out and the code comes on..
after i turn ignition off and start car again..it does the same thing. vtec on and off.

seems like a wire problem but just wanna ask first..
help out if u can..
thanks!!!!

setup is 96 hatch obdIIa running '00 b18c1 stock.. '97 gsr ecu

Do you have a VAFC?
Sounds like a wire problem to me.

There is a VTEC troubleshooting flow chart in the Helms

yea i did..but took it out..
it's probably the splicing of my wires and reconnecting it...

That would be a good guess. When I had moved the wire harness where i had my VAFC hooked up after installing a chipped ecu it gave the same code. Turned out the wires were garbled.
