Default CEL Code 22

I got ls vtec and everytime i hit vtec i get a cel. I checked the code and its 22, vtec pressure switch. I looked into it and other people have run into the problem if they don't have a vtec pressure switch and there is a way to bypass it. However i have one and i took it off to look at it and it appears to look completely fine still like new. I don't know what the problem could be. Any help would be appreciated, its been bothering me for quite sometime. Thanks

Alright so i think i figured out what the problem may be. Its been driving me crazy. The vtec pressure switch wire is going to the wiring harness clip, to the ecu, and the slot on the clip doesn't have a pin like all the other ones do. I know that others try to bypass the vtec pressure switch by bridging a4 to d6, which i have already done and actually made everything worse. As soon as i turned the car on the CEL immediately came on and wouldn't engage vtec. So i put the wires back to how they were. Now im back into square 1..
