Default CEL Code 22....

If i'm not mistaken, this is the VTEC Pressure Valve Switch. This is the green plug on the left side of the head right? Also, i changed it out with a friends and still no VTEC. So then i thought it might be the wiring, so we pinned it out and rewired it. STILL...no VTEC. What else could be the problem when it's throwing 22?

yes, that is the VTEC pressure switch. has the same problem... my ground wasn't to great.

1st: check your wires AGAiN, make sure you have the correct (2) wires.
2nd: make sure it's GROUNDed to a clean ground source.
3rd: sock you friend in the face because that pressure switch is faulty.

Just wondering...could it also be caused by not enuff oil pressure getting to the Valve switch to activate it?
