Replacing radiator in an EG. Self-explanitory or is there a DIY?
Have had an ebay radiator sitting in my closet forever, think i might finally get off my *** and install it. Never done a radiator install before and wondering if it'll be pretty self-explanitory as i unbolt the old stock one, or anything special i should make sure to do/have before i start? thanks in advance

I did my first one in about an hour. Just unplug, detach anything that hooks on it and pull it out, and put the new one in. Its not hard by any means.
easy as pie. Flush ur coolant. Remove the tab on top of the rad. Undo the hoses and take it out. Go backwards, and make sure to bleed your cooling system, otherwise your engine will not operate properly. Any doubts or questions, just ask.
Done plenty of Radiator fixing, so i know about bleeding etc. just never ripped the whole thing out. Are stock radiator fans cheap? would it be wise to go pick one up just to be safe and start with a fresh radiator AND fan? My hoses are brand new, just replaced both of em, so that's not a worry. Thanks for the replies so far
If it aint broke, dont fix it. You could get a slim fan instead, that'd look a bit cleaner, but nothing beats OEM for quality and durability. I dont know how much either go for tho.

let the car get to opertating temp, and let the bubbles come up to the top of the radiator cap. Once the bubbles stop coming up, squeeze the upper radiator hose to force more bubbles out.
