New Radiator Install (write-up)
ok, i'm sure a few of you are curious about radiator options for your 6g civics. i picked up this dual-core radiator off ebay(search for dual core radiator or civic or del sol radiator) for something like 80 after shipping (20 for shipping)
to start off, put the car either up on jackstands or ramps as shown here:
then loosen, but do not remove the nut holding the top radiator support on the body. then loosen the thumbscrew on the bottom of the radiator to drain it (remove the radiator cap to help speed the process). while its draining, also remove the top bolt holding the overflow container to the body and push it forward to clear the radiator fan shroud as shown here:

skip ahead a few minutes....
now that the radiator is drained, remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
next remove the four bolts holding the fan onto the radiator. now try to maneuver the fan away from the radiator (can be a pain if you have A/C) and disconnect the connector for the fan (electrical).
now remove the top radiator support fully and pull the radiator from the car.
comparison of the two radiators:
now just reverse the steps and install the new radiator....
be sure to fill it with coolant, run the car for a few minutes then top it off with coolant.
finished:
enjoy your newfound coolness.

Great write-up. 
I saw the same radiator on Ebay and will be putting one in before summer. Does it take the same amount of coolant or a little more since it's a dual-core?
Oh, and that girl in your second pic might be more comfortable sun-tanning on the grass

the radiator does hold more coolant.... not exactly sure how much more though....
and yeah, thats my gf in the second pic, i tried to tell her that the grass would be more comfortable, but she said she was quite comfortable on the asphalt (i'm sure it was a bit warmer too, it was only about 65 or 70 today)

the thing was running perfect until friday night (refer to https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=793590 )
i still need to install the knock sensor to finally get rid of the CEL.... but now i need to figure out WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH MY DAMN IACV (sorry, i'm frustrated)....
i like the new cam, pulls pretty good.
so yeah...

Unless your car is lowered there is no reason that you have to put it on jackstands, even if it is a little bit just park on a inclined driveway and your fine.
My old radiator busted up top, so I decided to go with the dual core. I pickup'd that del sol VTEC dual core from O'reileys for less than $50 bux cus my friend worked there. I installed it on flat ground without using jackstands. I used new hoses too, with the old clamps.
Only bad thing was that during this past winter it took forever to get my engine warm when it was 40 or below.

whats the "clicky-pow" ?
and i put the car up on ramps just to help me crawl up under the car... just made it easier.
and yeah, i guess a full-size radiator would work well, too... but i dont want to ditch my A/C
