knock sensor code

Default knock sensor code

check engine lite is on and the code is knock sensor...i replaced it twice one with was used the other new from the dealer....reseted the ecu but still get that code...i also rewired straight to the ecu to pin d3...what can it possible be????h22a vtec engine...h22a trany (m/t)...h22a vtec ecu (p13)

Code 23 is the knock sensor, did you use a shielded wire? Check for continuity from the engine harness ks connector and the ecu pin D3, if you have continuity it could be your ecu, non shielded wire, clean the threads on the knock sensor before installing.

make sure you check this, the sensor is self-grounded.

Did you torque it down to manufacture specs? If not that might be your problem.
