did you use shielded wire on your knock sensor. To my knowledge the secondaries wouldnt cause a knock sensor code. Check your knock sensor wiring.

Its probably a problem in your wiring. I'm willing to bet you ran the secondary butterfiles wire at the ECU to the knock sensor, and ran the knock sensor wire at the ECU to the secondary butterflies on the IM.

nope. not the case. we checked the wiring a few times already.
doesnt make sense anyways. we didnt add any wires. my car was an EX which had the knock sensor all wired up and no secondary wires. so we hooked up the factory knock sensor wire to the knock sensor.
ur scenario would only make sense if we added wires to my ecu and happen to put it in the wrong spot...we didnt add wires so that couldnt happen...
but that could be a possiblity for others..

ex doesnt have a ks wired in already, only has vtec solenoid and oil pressure.
run a wire from your ecu to the ks. which engine harness did you use ?

Yes, it does, EKs EX have KS, EGs do not. IABs will not throw a code.
Check the sensor itself
Check wiring.

how can you check if the sensor is good? cause i must have checked the wiring and ecu at least 10 times...so i know that its not the wiring or the ecu...

Make sure that the sensor is screwed in securely. They can loosen up then vibrate which will make the ECU think it's "knocking". Check that the plug clicked onto the sensor securely and also check the wiring for any shorts.
