Your OBD1 should work fine with the ECU that is being supplied to you from the source of engine. Call them and ask if it is compatible with your OBD1 computer.

P72,P28,P30,P61,P08J,P30J,P72J

These are the ECU's which work with the OBD1

You will need a jumper harness to plug up your new OBD1 ecu. OBD1 and OBD2 computers have different sized plugs. Try Skunk2 or LoCash Racing for a conversioin harness. Good luck with your swap. Also, your driver side motor mount is going to be different than the one coming with your swap.

your car is a 96 hatch, its an obd2a vehicle, but your putting an obd1 into it, so you need to get a conversion harness from like jdmshit.com so you can plug an obd1 ecu/motor into your obd2a vehicle, a p28 is a chip-able ecu, so you can do some minor "tuning" until you can get hondata or something, but make sure you get the right jumper harness, caz they make them for 96-98, and 99-00 which are different, and just search for wiring vtec, it will save me some typing

GSR is a P72

92-95 Civic EX is a P28

Check hybrid forum for wiring info or do a search and it will come up

i would get a 96-98 EX manual engine harness, a obd2-1 jumper and a p30 ecu

you can use the stock DX harness but you will have to rewire stuff, i find it easier to use the EX harness.

also you need a 99-00 SI rear motor mount and 99SI timing belt bracket(the one that bolts to the motor itself)

your stock top tranny mount and timing belt mount will work fine
